A James Maisey was convicted of felony 16 March 1807 at Gloucester Assizes and sentenced to 7 years transportation but transportation happened in 1827?

Report in the Gloucester Journal dated May 16th that James Maisey was found guilty at Gloucester Assizes of felony and of stealing clothing, linen, and some coffee from a wagon. He was sentenced on 27 Sept 1827 to be deported for 7 years to New South Wales Australia.
