(33) HENRY CLAY MAULL, son of James Maull (9) was b. Jan. 29,1829 or Jan. 19,1830. He m. Jan.19 1855 Sarah Fisher West, b. Apr. 18, 1827 or 1829, dau. of James James McMain West, d Feb. 6 or 7,1885. He lived in Lewes, and d. April 12 or 28,1912. Both are buried in Lewes M. E. Cem.

extract from "John Maull (1714-1753) of Lewes, Delaware : a genealogy of his descendants in all branches" - page 55
Asa's father, Whittington Clifton, was a cordwainer and property owner of Lewes. He was listed as a private in the First Company of the Del. Reg. of Foot commanded by Col. David Hall in its Muster Roll for Feb. 1780. His wife was Elizabeth and his children: Asa (supra), Whittington of Lewes who m. Sarah, James who went to Pickway Co. Ohio, Mary who m. Thomas Houston and also lived in Ohio. Among the taxables in Lewes and Rehoboth Hd. in 1813 were listed: W. Clifton, Asa Clifton, James Clifton, Whittington Clifton and Daniel Clifton.

FRANKLIN CHARLES MAULL, son of Edward Maull (52), was b. March 5 or 15, 1844. He m. Apr. 30, 1872 or April 15, 1873 Victoria West, b. Apr. 5, 1843, dau. of Bailey Art West and Mary Ann West, d. Feb. 16, 1926. He was a shipchandler and shipbuilder and lived in Lewes. He d. Dec. 5, 1912. Both are buried in St. Peter's Churchyard. Franklin and his 2 children are named in the will of his father Edward Maull (52), dated Feb. 7 and 17, 1884.
