OCR text: Roy E. Howell HENDERSON Services for Roy E. Howell. 87. retired florist, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Simmons and W. B. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Newbern City Cemetery. Mr. Howell died Wednesday afternoon at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ft. Wayne, after a long illness. He was born and reared in Newbern. He first married the late Mrs. Nezzie Tankersly who precended him in death. He later married the Mrs. Irene Boyd Howell who died in 1976. He was a member of Henderson Church of Christ. He leaves two daughters. Mrs. W. B. Freeman of Woodleaf, N.C., and Mrs. Harley Doulas of Yates Center, Kan. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Emily Jean (Emma) pinson, 67, died Friday at the home of a son, Guy Pinson, White House, after an illness of several months. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with burial in Hopewell Cemetery. Mrs Pinson, was a native of Robertson County, a daughter of the late James Andrew and Georgia Ann Tate West.
Survivors include two other sons, Paul Pinson and Tom Pinson, Springfield; daughter, Mrs. James Mason, Springfield; sister, Mrs. Maybelle West, Ridgetop; three brothers, J. A. West, Nashville, Elijah L. West, Franklin, KY., and Henry West, Goodlettsvile; 13 grandchildren.
