OCR text: CLEMONS, Della. Della was born in Ione, WA. on June 27, 1929 to Leland West and Estella Mc Manamon West. She was the oldest of six children (three sisters and two brothers). The sisters are Leslie, Josie, and Patsy; the brothers are Pat and Jerry Lee. She lived with her two sisters and her mom and dad until on August 4th 1938 to surprise the only twins to be born at home in Metaline Falls, WA arrived; they were such little baby dolls.
Della went to school and graduated from Metaline Falls High School. After graduation she moved to Spokane and worked for J.W. Graham. She met and married her best friend and sweetheart Duane Wilson Clemons on June 6th, 1951; who was a Veteran of WWII, in the Army in 44, and then the Navy Reserve in 49. They made their home in Spokane, WA.
They have children: Glen (Penny) Joseph, Duane (Sandy)(Elizabeth), Christine, Dan (Stacy). She was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great- grandchildren. Della was preceded in death by her husband Duane parents Leland and Estella; and grandchild Scotty; daughter-in-law Sandy; sister Patsy, brother Jerry Lee; nephews: Tom Morrison, Larry Arneson, niece Jackie West; brother-in-law Bob Arneson. She is survived by her children: Glen and Penny, Joseph, Duane and Elizabeth, Dan and Stacy, and Christine, also by one special aunt Ruby West; her sisters and brothers: Leslie and Phil, Josie and Bub, Ray Burgett, Pat and Evelyn; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. At her request there are no services. A memorial will be held in the spring. Donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society or the Honor Guard.
