Lois was born December 23 1932 in Farmersville, Texas to Raymond and Edith Kemp West. She was employed for 32 years with the Childress Independent School District as a cook in the elementary cafeteria and at one time, she worked in the deli at Gibsons. Lois was known for her great sense of humor. She had great talent for baking, which she generously shared with her friends and neighbors, and also for her delicious fried chicken and chicken and dumplings. She was a fan of both the Dallas Mavericks and the Texas Rangers. She held membership in Childress Church of Christ.She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Edith West; husband, C.W. West, and baby daughter. Memorials may be may be made to CRMC Hospice, PO Box 1030, Childress, TX 79201 orWestview boy's Home, PO Box 553, Hollis, OK 73550.
