Kermit Eugene West, age 74, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016. He was born October 15, 1942 in Leslie, Arkansas, a son of Jewel West and Juanita Horton West. He was a retired truck driver and member of Paul Clement deer camp for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Taegel West of Perryville; son, Monte (Mandy) West of Perryville; two daughters, Vanda West of Clinton and Candace (Irvin) Baughman of Cabot; three sisters, Jeweldean (Neil) Treece of Fort Smith, LaVonne (Buddy) Newton of Doniphan, Missouri, and Brenda West of Perryville; and nine grandchildren, Riley and Camden West, Gabriel and Greenley Nicholson, Monte West II, Macey West and Maverick West, and Hunter and Payton Baughman.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27th at the First Baptist Church in Perryville with Jason Almond officiating. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home in Morrilton. The family would like to say a special thank you to Jessica Bradford who is like a daughter to us and Richard Butterfield for always being there to help.
