OCR text: The Marshall News Messenger 05 Jun 1992 - Funeral services for Edna Frances Ready West, 92, of Austin were held at 2 p.m. today at the Travis Street Chapel of Sullivan Funeral" Home with the Rev. Rufus Zachry officiating. Burial was in Colonial Gardens. Mrs: West died at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 1992 in Austin following an extended illness. She was born June 6, 1899 in Brookhaven, Miss., a daughter of Linus M. Ready and Melinda Ready. She married Lester E. West in 1937 in Jefferson, who preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1975. She was a homemaker and was educated in the Brookhaven, Miss, public schools. She was affiliated with Hyde Park Baptist Church of Austin "and was a member of Second Baptist Church of Marshall. She was a former resident of Marshall, moving to Austin on Nov. 1, 1989. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, J.T. and Ginny Demoney of Austin; one granddaughter, D'Ann Demoney Beck of Austin; two great-grandchildren, Brandon E. Beck and Susan D. Beck, both of Austin; a nephew, Robert Demoney of Marshall; and numerous other nephews and nieces. She ' was also preceded in death by four sisters and five ....
