Milli Packard, our remarkable mother, daughter of Irma Hansen and Karl Bates West, loved life, lifting others and was improving herself to the end. A remarkably talented woman, a songbird in her youth, an extraordinary musician & composer, she graduated from NAU, and she participated in choral groups into her 90s.
She loved music, knowledge, dancing, handsome men, and anything beautiful. Daily she petitioned for each one of us by name in her prayers-children & grandchildren. Love you Grandma Milli, till we meet again...Survivors: 8 children, Jennifer Sandstrom, Ernest Schurig (Beverly) Alma Schurig (Janet), Sam Schurig (Jan), Irma Bigler, Laura Jones (David), Rita Lee (Mike), and Lisa Wyatt (Wayne), 40 grandchildren, over 65 great-grands, and her sister Wanda West Palmer
