My WEST family lived in Missouri from about 1867, maybe a bit earlier.
John Wesley WEST b. 1835 Washington Courthouse, Ohio, married in Ohio 1862 to Margaret GRIFFITH b. March, 1841 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He served in Civil War on Union side, miner for awhile, was a teacher, and story goes he shot a man in a card game.
Margaret died in Missouri in 1881. I would like to know where she died, where buried, find an obit, and anything on John Wesley.
