Della Elizabeth West, 95, of Zionsville, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at St. Vincent Hospital Inpatient Unit in Indianapolis.
She was born May 30, 1913, in Henry County, Ky., the daughter of Willie Harrison and Eullah Burch Spurr. She was a member of Carrollton Christian Church in Carrollton, Ky. and the Carrollton Homemakers.
She is survived by one son, Marvin West of Zionsville; one brother, Harvey Sid Spurr of Franklinton; and two sisters, Aleene Harvey of La Grange, Ky., and Savannah Jones of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe West, and her parents.
The funeral was at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Bedford, Ky.
