OCR text: The Indianapolis News Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Issue Date: Friday, May 1, 1914 CHARLES H. WEST DEAD. Deputy Under Sheriff Woessner and ' Sheriff Portteua. Charles H. West, age thirty-one. died yesterday at the home of his brother, Frank ,K. West. SIS East Minnesota street. Mr. West was born In Clayton. Ind., and came to Indianapolis when nineteen years old. He was a deputy under Sheriff Woessner and Sheriff Portteus until he was forced to retire last October on account of hia health. Mr. West is survived by his mother. Mrs. Katherine Weft; three sifter.". Cora. and four brothers. V . K. and Arthur Ida and May West Klmer K.. Frank A. West.
