Jacob Kollock Plaintiff
Anderson Parker Deft
Case mentions Abigail West's goods which were located at John Coes plantation.
Justice Walker by virtue of his oath as a justice reported that a bay colored horse was at the time of John West's death & likewise before in his lifetime reputed to be John West's horse.
Mr Richard Paynter reported that John West proffered to sell the horse to him
The Court at the request of the Deft asked Edward Stretcher whether or not he saw Abigail Eires or West deliver a horse to the Deft, / hee saith yes, after the death of her husband John West.
The jury went out upon it, but upon the towns being taken by the French, the court broke up
[On 7 May 1709 a French privateer plundered the town of Lewes, eventually ransoming four men and shooting a Maryland ship captain.]
