George Russell West, 64 Mountainburg, Ark., died Sunday morning at a local hospital. A retired grocery store manager, he was a member of Mountainburg Free Will Baptist Church and Mountainburg Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include the widow Myrtle, of the home; one son George R. Jr. of Prairie Grove Ark.; one daughter, Mrs. Hilda Gean Hill of Alma, Ark., one brother, Olie of Graphic, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Lena Pope of Oiltown, Okla.; three grand children and two great-grand children.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mountainburg Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Dee Smith will officiate. Burial will be at Pope Cemetery under direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
