Juanita Gillman, 88, died Tuesday in Fairland, Oklahoma. Private family services were held. Cremation arrangements were by the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home.
Juanita Gillman was born on November 25, 1924 at Red Rock, Oklahoma the daughter of James Ora and Lizzie (Pairilee) West. She was raised in the Nowata County area. Juanita married William C. “Bill” Gillman on May 31, 1947 at Independence, Kansas and they made their home in Lenapah till Bill preceded her in death in 1998. She moved to Seneca, Missouri in 1999. Juanita had worked for the Coffeyville Hospital as a cook for many years.
Juanita is survived by one daughter, Sharon Beard of Seneca, Missouri, one grandson, Jason Warren Beard of Seneca, and three great grandchildren, Jayson Warren Beard, Mekaylee Beard and Hunter Beard.
