Lula M. Abrams West, born in Ohio, August 19, 1872; moved to Missouri when a child; Graduated form Steeleville High School class of 1888; Married Jan 25, 1899 Mother of five children, four of whom with husband survive her. Moved to Afton in October 1903. Died April 23, 1910.
Dr. West wishes to express his utmost gratitude to the people of Afton for their great kindness in his bereavement.
Mrs Anna West, mother of Dr. West and Mrs Dr. Neely of Calhoun Missouri and Dr. W. B. West of St Anthony Ida. attended the funeral services for Mrs West.

text: Born February 19, 1900 at Meta, Missouri, the oldest son of Dr. and Mrs. GW West, he moved to Star Valley with his parents in 1904 and resided here until graduating from dental school. He served in the army during World War I. He is survived by his wife, the former Sylvia Walton, formerly of Auburn and Alpine and three sons, Earl, Robert and Jack, all of whom are World War II veterans.
Attending the services from Star Valley were Dr. GW West [his father], Mr. and Mrs. Homer West [his brother], Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Moser [his half sister] and Geo. Cardon, Mr. and Mrs. Jack West and daughter [his hal-brother and his neice], Mr. and Mrs. Max West [his half-brother] and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Livingston. [Mrs. Livingston is a sister of Warren’s wife.] Also in attendance were Anna West Ravsten and daughter [his sister and her daughter, his neice] , Spokane, Washington, and Mr. and Mrs. Dale West, Cody, Wyoming.

W.E. "Earl" West Jr., 78, died Nov 1, 2001 at the Wyoming Medical Center.
He was born Aug 23, 1923 in Mountain View Wyo to Dr Warren Earl and Sylvia (Walton) West. He was raised in Saratoga and Wheatland where he graduated high school. after graduating from the University of Wyoming in 1948, he moved to Casper where he spent the rest of his life.
He served in the US Army's 14th Armored Division from 1943-1946, and was awarded the Good Conduct and Victory Medals for service in the European Theater during WWII.
Earl married Mary Elizabeth Kennedy on Oct 1, 1945 in Sheridan. They were married 1945-1981. He married Thora Erla Olafsdottir from Reykavik Iceland in August of 1990. They later divorced.
Survivors: daughter Callie West, Steamboat Springs CO, sons Alan West, Wyoming and Dennis West Sheridan, brother Bob West Albuquerque NM; two grandsons, one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jack West, one son Tom West and his first wife Mary
