Services were held Feb. 16 in Scott's Funeral Home ChavEl With Rev. Piez Todd and Rev. Lloyd Sansom officiating. Bunal was in the City Cemetery. Born Aug. 2. 1908 in Gatesville. he was the son of the late Robert Edward. Sr.. and Belle West He was raised and attended in Gatesville graduating frorn Gatesville High School. He married Frankie Marie Wilson Nov. 28. 1936. He was an electrician In Gatesville for many years and a lifetime resident of Gatesville. He was also a merntrr of the First United Methcxnst Church in Gatesville.
Survivors include: one daughter. Mrs. Mimi Kay West Kinard of Columbus. OH; one son. Robert E. (Bob) West 111 of Bellevue. NE; one sister. Mrs. Grace West Leaird of Gatesville; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers at the funeral were David Kinard. Mike Kuzenka. Bud Miller. Neal Chapman. Bobby Thrasher and Jack Bone.
