Elijah West died in Topeka, KS., Santa Fe Hospital, Thursday, aged 70 years, 4 months, 4 days. Born near Pontiac, IL ., 6 Oct 1850, died 10th February 1921..
On 30 July 1872, he wed Sarah E. Hensley, they had 9 children, 5 died in infancy,
Mrs. Lena Viola Manard West, died 6 years ago and Ora Irene died at age 9; Frank M. of California and Joseph M. West. Services at the Baptist Church, Monday but burial delayed until Thursday until son came.
