Mrs. Evelyn Mae West, 79, Eldon, died Thursday at Memorial Community Hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1907 at Miller County, a daughter of Rev. Wm. M. Sooter and Nancy Almira Groves Sooter. She was married Feb. 4, 1925, at Tuscumbia to William C. "Cornie" West, who died Oct 1984. She was employed as a clerk at Kress Department Store, Jefferson City.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Lillie Livingston, Jefferson City.
