2 Oct 1765. Deed. WILLIAM WEST of Suss Co pilot for 70 pounds sold to JOHN WEST of same co yeoman ... pt/o a 200 a. tr of land in Indian River Hund pt/o a larger tr patened to a certain WILLIAM EMMET who conveyed tile same to a certain FRANCIS WILLIAMS who conveyed the same to one ABRAHAM MOLLESTON, and it decended from ABRAHAM MOLLESTON to his son JOHN MOLLESTON who being indebted to a certain JAMES PETTYJOHN, and absenting himself out of this government, the said JAMES PETTYJOHN obtained a jugment against him & caused the land to be executed by the sheriff of Suss Co who sold same to a certain JACOB KOLLOCK, and the widow and relict of the said JACOB KOLLOCK on 3 Aug 1737 conveyed the same to a certain ROBERT WEST, who by his will bearing date 8 Mar 1736/7 devised the 200 a. to a certain WILLIAM WEST late decd father of the afsd WILLIAM W EST party to these presents, and same WILLIAM WEST ye younger on - - 1765 conveyed unto BENJAMIN BURTON esqr 11 1/2 a. s & n side of Golsmiths or Herring Cr, and the remainder pt/o the tr 188 1/2 a. n side of the br except 1 1/2 a. said WILLIAM WEST doth hereby sell to the afad JOHN WEST. Wit: ALEXR SHANKLAND, RICHARD WESLEY. Ackn 8 Oct 1765. (K:pg 203)
