Word was received here Wednesday of the death of early Fred West, husband of the former Odie Mae Herrington of Bunker Hill, in an automobile collision about 1:30 A.M. in Houma, La.,, where Mr. West was employed by an oil company. Reports were that Mr. West died instantly as did a man passenger in the car with him. Mrs. West, with their children, resided on North Main Street, here, with Mr. West coming home on week-ends. He had been here last Saturday and relatives state that the family had planned to move to Houma later this week. They also stated that the body will be taken to Kilgore, Texas for funeral services and interment. In addition to his wife, survivors include two children, Donna, 5, and Randy, 4, of this city
