Services for Howard S. West, 1. of 387 Clinton avenue, a retired banker who died yesterday in his home, will take place Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Henry. E. Bishop & Son funeral home, [ 1139 Fair-field avenue, with the Rev. Dr. Walter L. Scranton,, of the First Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Grove cemetery.
Mr. West was born in East Setauket, Long Island, N.Y., and had resided in Bridgeport for 64 years. He was assistant treasurer of the City's Savings bank for 39 years before his retirement 1958. He was a member of :he Brooklawn Country club and the Algonquin club.
Survivors are four brothers, Clinton F, and Ernest S. West, both of East Setauket, Long Island, N.Y., and Harvey H. and George H. West, both of Stratford; four sisters, Mrs. Edna A. Van Brunt and Miss Mary D. West, both of East Setauket, Long Island, N.Y., Mrs. Hazel W. Jayne, of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mrs. Ida L. Brown, of Yolada, Fla.; 12 nieces and nephews; 22 grandnieces and nephews and 16 great-grand-nieces and nephews.
